Vente Venezuela denunció la detención de tres personas, tras el acto que ofreció la líder opositora María Corina Machado en su primer día de gira por el estado Mérida, para impulsar la candidatura de Edmundo González Urrutia de cara a las presidenciales.
La noche del martes 25 de junio la organización detalló que Henry Izarra, militante de Vente en el municipio Campo Elías, fue detenido de forma arbitraria por cuerpos de seguridad, junto a dos personas más que instalaron el sonido para la actividad de Machado.
Varios usuarios en redes sociales dijeron que Izarra es dueño del camión que sirvió de tarima para el mitin.
La cuenta DDHH de Vente Venezuela informó la mañana de este miércoles que Izarra y los dos menores de edad que se encontraban con él, habían sido liberados a las 5:00 de la madrugada . «Sin embargo sus equipos (sonido) permanecen retenidos, impidiendo su derecho al trabajo», detalló @venteddhh.
